Anyone who beat this game has that overworld theme ingrained in their brains....unless they were grinding in one of the dungeons, than they had that dungeon theme going. I got frustrated sometimes with this games music when instead of using a new track, they just used the previous track an octave lower and a bit slower paced.

It was even a highlight in 'Dragon Warrior II' when you revisit the original Alefgard island. They kept the theme from the first game and it made that part so much more betterer.

Indeed, which is why I decided to make a medley of the dungeon music as progressively slower/lower loops instead of 8 separate tracks.

Yea, I liked how the medleys of them worked. They run together quite well.

This game's music can really make your feel "alone" when traveling on the overworld map. Especially when traveling into unknown territory.
